Hyatt Place Titusville Kennedy Space Center: Rocket Launch Viewing Hotel
Launch Viewing Experience
The hotel's fifth-floor Launch Viewing Lounge opens ten minutes before each rocket launch and provides direct sightlines to Cape Canaveral launch pads across the lagoon. Rooms on the fourth floor feature sliding windows that open for a clear view of rocket ignition and lift-off. This dedicated viewing space is available to all guests and is a key reason families and space enthusiasts choose this property.
Accommodations
Each of the 110 rooms includes a separate seating area with a sofa bed, a 55-inch flat-screen television, and a spacious bathroom with full-size shampoo and conditioner dispensers. The soundproofing effectively dampens external noise from the nearby airport and road, as noted by multiple guests. All rooms are air-conditioned and offer blackout shades for restful sleep.
On-site Amenities
The hotel offers a 24-hour fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, and free on-site private parking. A business center and meeting/banquet facilities are available for corporate travelers, while the 24-hour front desk provides mobile check-in and key services. Pet-friendly accommodations are offered for a nominal fee, with staff known for waiving restrictions during emergencies.
Dining
A complimentary buffet breakfast is served weekdays and includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, and beverages. The on-site bar serves limited evening food options such as burgers and chicken tenders, along with canned beer and wine. Guests note that breakfast staff are attentive and keep the buffet stocked until closing.
Location
The hotel is 2 km from the Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum, 12 km from Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, and 14 km from the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral are a short drive away, making the hotel a convenient base for cruise passengers and beachgoers.
